Lafitte Hotel & Bar is a boutique hotel at the corner of Bourbon and St. Phillip Streets, in the residential end of New Orleans' famous and historic French Quarter. Our location gives visitors the perfect jumping off point from which to enjoy the sights and sounds of Bourbon Street, with the opportunity to return to their own serene French Quarter retreat at the end of each day of adventure.

The rich and colorful history of Lafitte Hotel & Bar began in 1849, as the private home of the Galieses family. Transformed into a hotel in the last century, the mansion now offers 14 expertly-appointed rooms, each enjoying a private bath and many with private balconies.

All of our guest rooms are spacious, and uniquely decorated with antiques and art from New Orleans and beyond. The house also has several shared balconies, offering all of our guests the ability to take in gorgeous views of Bourbon Street and downtown New Orleans.
